“We All Grow When We All Eat”

In collaboration with NICOLE J. CARUTH, we focused our attention on food justice as it relates to the health of our community. Norf Nashville is a food desert- an urban area in which it is difficult to buy affordable or quality, fresh food. Working with the Metropolitan Transit Authority to produce imagery promoting the mantra, “We All Grow When We All Eat,” we sought to highlight the interconnectivity of public health, economics and accessibility, and the deeper social implications that exist. Our community has been classified as one of the unhealthiest, so in promoting a universal growth rather than a unilateral one, we promote love over convenience.
